Introduction
The women’s rights movement has played a crucial role in the empowerment of most women globally. Their intention, in the beginning, was to remove the shackles of patriarchy to enable women to make their decisions freely regarding the equality to work, earn a living, and even vote. The 1900s marked the entry of women into influential positions of power in society, with some participating in politics, commerce, and even being heads of families.
