Sex Education Is Not Affective Amongst High School Students
In the middle of the growing concern regarding the vulnerabilities of teenage sex, school and health leaders are requesting for a prolonged determination to teach sex education in schools. When merely thirteen states within the United States of America demand sex instruction to be somatically precise and perfect, a great deal is left fit for the understanding of teenage welfare mastery. A recent study conducted by “Public Library of Science” (Stanger-Hall and Hall, 2011) reveals that when sex education is all-inclusive, learners to be more knowledgeable, make harmless and rational choices, in addition to showing healthier conducts and outcomes-leading to reduced rates of unplanned teenage pregnancies and improved protection against sexually transmitted infections and diseases.
Sex education is concerned with life skills, and there are multiple facets that individuals take for the rest of their lives; however, they only get them once or twice in school. Unquestionably, a majority of students pick up good sex education from sources other than school that is a wide array of sources that consist of social media platforms, peers, family members, pop culture, and medical experts. On the other hand, public schools are the paramount prospect for teenagers to access to appropriate sex education and formal information. Lack of proper regulation from the state leads to a vague interpretation of legislative guidelines by teachers meaning the taught information might not be correct or impartial.
