Internal environment constitutes various aspects inside an organisation that influence its performance, which include corporate culture, structure, policies, the management’s role, and the way employees as well as management perform their tasks (Lussier, 2011). It is apparent that corporations such as the Westminster Conference Centre manage their internal environment in the efforts to accomplish their corporate objectives (Zain & Kassim, 2012). These corporations focus on effectively arranging the resources, employees and management to achieve the underlying objectives. In the service industry, the success of companies such as Westminster Conference Centre is determined by effectiveness of the procedures of organising and planning the internal operations. It also encompasses the easy and effective decision-making relating to internal activities such as technological disciplines, human resource management, marketing, and general operations.
Westminster Conference Centre is a company that provides venues for conferences and meetings to corporations, financial institutions, government institutions, as well as agencies. The centre is affiliated with the government and it is based in London. Through Baxter storey and 1 Victoria Street, the Westminster Conference Centre prides itself as a conference centre that under the sensitive needs of meeting and conferences (1 Victoria Street, 2016). It has more than 50 employees who are situated in its Baxter storey and 1 Victoria Street centres. Further, it has a comparatively flat management arrangement with few management levels with a significant emphasis on a positive corporate culture and teamwork. The centre is also focused on sustainability and continuously strives to achieve and develop better practices that promote its business and safeguard the environment by reducing waste as well as using most of the products that are sourced naturally.
In Baxter storey and 1 Victoria Street, Westminster Conference Centre has developed a strong culture founded on concept of diversity and inclusion that recognise individual differences and capabilities. The corporation has established a philosophy of inclusion by integrating and valuing employees with diverse cultural identities backgrounds, perspectives, talents, and experiences.
