Introduction
HNC level 7 healthcare is mainly designed to enable candidates to progress to progress to employment or a wide range of studies in higher education. The candidates will develop a wide range of skills in nursing. HNC in care and administrative practice (Level 7) improves the required clinical expertise in healthcare. The qualification covers dives areas in nursing.
In the current case study, the patient, Mary Jones, is a senior woman with memory loss and has recently received a formal diagnosis of Vascular Dementia. The patient lacks insights into her personal care needs and at the time she experiences mood swings and periods of increased anxiety and then she seems to refuse the support of home caregivers who assist patients with their daily living tasks. The patient presents poor mobility and falls. The patient's son, David has been diagnosed with epilepsy and is described as a loner and is repeatedly targeted with the local community.
