Every professional member is certified through competence and good character, governed by the commitment and Army values portrayed in their decisions and actions. Army has a culture of trust whose mandate is bestowed upon the strategic leaders to reinforce. The Army has various dynamics that involve soldiers, the Army family at large, and Army civilians. Army senior leaders are more responsible for dictating decisions and directives and implementing systems and programs that serve the mentioned dynamics. Strategic leaders have a role in predicting and setting a resolution method for issues they review that can slowly affect members of the Force. They cultivate a special bond geared toward trust and confidence to have the people of America support what they do and create a mutual relationship. The profession is strategically designed to mentor and develop civilians and soldiers to uphold future leadership positions that understand and implement the Army values and ethics to the next generation. The Army profession values the trust members of the public accord them, making it the most trusted institution across the nation. For this trust to prevail, the profession's members have a duty to maintain a culture guarded by values and ethics (Aylwin-Foster and Army, 2005, p. 27). In addition, the senior leaders have a responsibility to master the trends and challenges from one generation to another and identify possible opportunities that ensure improvement in their daily operations. The nature of stewardship is following the hierarchy from up to bottom for all the Army Civilians and Soldiers in service. The culture has beliefs and foundational values that determine their social environment and dictate their roles in accomplishing missions. Culture changes from time to time; thus, leaders should not worry about the changes but rather the route that the change takes, as culture is a critical aspect of the modern era. The principal values include duty, selfless service, loyalty, and honor, all embedded in personal courage to carry out missions (Aylwin-Foster and Army, 2005, p. 27). The values they hold dear are tested in time, thus strengthening their cultural foundation. The leaders acknowledge a trend of challenges that make them deviate from the moral norm but quickly address them to maintain trust among squads to major commands. The cultural efforts are built on three objectives that define, drive and align. First, define area ventures on the powerful and positive army dimensions in their culture, which eliminates any deviant behaviors and promotes positive behaviors that target attaining the set mission and vision (Aylwin-Foster and Army, 2005, p. 27). Leaders have a unique role in driving the endowed culture where they define it and openly communicate to inspire others to tap into the team spirit of achievement and accomplishment.
