Art is an important contribution to the aesthetic value of society. One of the benefits of art is that it can bring about peace and coexistence among different people and cultures in society. Artists use their positive attitudes and good moods to influence society on how to embrace one another irrespective of individual differences. This is achieved by creating excitement and spiritual satiety through artwork (Throsby, 83).
Furthermore, the beauty of different cultures is preserved by artists through different forms of art. The appreciation of ancient cultural practices and ways of life gives society a lot of pride and enables the appreciation of such heritage by subsequent generations.
