Max Weber is profoundly regarded as Marx’s intellectual critic. However, despite the divergence in ideologies between the two thinkers, they tend to agree to a specific degree on certain aspect underlying social changes in the society and the rise of the capitalism. In this accord, this analytical essay seeks to establish the convergence and divergence point of the ideologies and principles employed by the two thinkers. The bottom line is, this essay strive to establish the similarity and differences between the ideas of the two thinkers rather than establishing whose ideas are faulty and whose are justifiable.
