Factors Influencing Women Managers’ Success
Women have faced specific challenges that have hampered their employment efficiency. Gender disparity has long been a problem in many businesses, with males being handed executive positions believing they are more qualified than women. For several years, women have been marginalized in the workplace, forcing them to explore equal treatment options to assume leadership positions and earn equal compensation as their male counterparts (Dhaliwal 20). It is clear that the higher the administrative level, the fewer women in leadership positions. Even though most female workers avoid dominant fights with males, a few women have beaten the odds and succeeded in a male-dominated industry. As such, women managers' success characteristics include more excellent education, hard labor, and engagement in social support networks that boost their self-esteem.
