Tesla is an electric automobile company, which was established back in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. The designated name of the company originated from one of the famous American investor Nikola Teresa. The company has been specialized in the manufacturing process of solar panels and electric cars. The company is massive in terms of size because of the number of employees working for the company totaling up to 45,000. The manufacturing capabilities of the company are also useful because, in 2018, it produces 245,162 vehicles and supplied to all its markets (Yahoo). The company produced their first vehicle, the roadster that as subjected to a lot of tests to find out if it met with the gasoline-powered sports cars. Recently, the company has produced model S that has been unique because of its battery size and its performance in terms of speed. After the production of Model S, the company embarked in the production of model X targeting the SUV market, and there was the production of model 3 to meet the various market demands. As from 2019, the market capitalization of the company has been significant because of its growth in the market. The market capitalization of the company was $41.61 billion (Tesla). The company has many subsidiaries, including the SolarCity involved in the production of solar panels and Tesla Grohmann that deals with the automation process of electric cars. The company has adopted safety precautions as well as employee training to improve the quality of the products offered.
