It felt like I was the coolest kid in the entire school. There was this girl in my class whom I had strong feelings for; her name was xxxxxx. She was as fair as a star, when only one is shining in the sky. I felt mature, confident and capable of socializing with people for the first time as I interacted with her. I was almost sure of having a great time with her, even before the time to be with her arrived.
As for our first date, it was not the first time for me and xxxxxx to get to know each other; we had exchanged notes in class previously and even got into trouble for that. I was determined to have her as a partner for as long as I live. I asked her if she would go to the movies with me, and she said she would but after getting permission from her parents. The next day, she confirmed to me and my heart immediately began to flutter so timidly.
When the D-day finally came, I remember how I waited patiently outside her door on a chilly Saturday evening. She came out with her eyes like two stars shining, in a fine pink dress exposing the beauty of her luscious body on high heels. I then held her hand warmly as we strode down the stairs of the porch. Since I had a drivers’ license by then my uncle had agreed to lend me his Ford mustang gt for a few hours. I had never been so excited before.
The shock of apprehension however manifested after I took her home later that night and we had our first kiss. It had been one of the best nights of my life; I had ever spent with someone. From there on, I developed strong desires and motives to build a strong relationship with xxxxxx. She was not only amazing but also lovely, kind and confident.
I remember having a brief discussion with my dad that day, prior to going for my date. I had asked my mum for some money for the occasion and she gladly offered some. I had not however discussed this with my dad, but he must have noticed by my outfit. As soon as he saw me step into the room, he glanced at me with some atrocious expression before asking where I was headed. He nevertheless ended adding me some extra bucks to spend and informed that I be back by 10 pm.
My time with xxxxxx could not have gone any quicker. She was all I thought about all day; I wanted to spend more time and get to know her more. For that reason, I suggested we visit a dinner I was familiar with at some street corner. At first, I was but soon found myself becoming loquacious as she kept smiling at me, and every question I asked. I was so carried away that in accidentally knocked my coffee and it poured all over my khaki trouser. I was forced to leave to the bathroom, when I came out, I found xxxxxx seated there in deep thought. I soon noticed she was concerned with the passing of time since she kept glancing at her mobile phone’s screen from time to time. It was around quarter past nine by then, she had finished her coffee and brownie and I asked her to take a walk with me, leaving my uncle’s car on the dinner’s parking.
Once on the streets, I handed my Polo jacket to xxxxxx, which she refused but later took since I insisted. I noticed that there were several openings to ask xxxxx to be my girlfriend. This idea kept my mind toiling from time to time. However, I was so unsure of how it would imply on her. We had never spend time by ourselves. Even though I believed that she liked me as much as I did her, I did not want it seem that am forcing myself on her. For this reason, I chose to keep it casual.
