Global Changes
The scale of planetary changes that occur in the system of the earth is global change. The system of the earth contains oceans, lands, Polar Regions, atmosphere and life. Study indicates that the parts of earth manipulate each other. The earth has a complex behavioral system. The earth’s compound system has different responses to the changes that occur inside the universe. Scientist conducts research on daily basis to identify the global changes that take place within the earth’s complex system. Scientists give explanation on how the activities of human beings lead to the global changes today. Human activities affect the important processes that facilitate the functioning of earth. A perfect example of global change on earth is global warming.
The increase in the temperature on earth’s climate is global warming. The release of excess carbon dioxide into the atmosphere leads to global warming on earth. The ozone layer is a part of the atmosphere that has ozone in high concentration. The excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere destroys the ozone layer. The destruction of layer results to an irregular increase in the earth’s normal temperature level. The ozone layer protects the earth from receiving direct ultra violet light. Human activities lead makes up the main cause for global warming. Activities such as burning coal, fossils and natural gas release carbon dioxide gas into the earth’s atmosphere. Managing the activities helps to prevent global warming.
Global warming causes an increase in droughts around the world. The increased temperature above the normal rates leads to decrease in the amount of rainfall in arid and semi arid areas. Global warming causes an increase in the rate of melting ice around the poles of the earth. The ice melts in the Polar Regions at uncontrollable rates because of the increased temperatures. The ice cannot survive under the increased temperatures. Global warming causes unnecessary disruptions in food supplies across the world. High temperatures destroy the food planted by farmers. The increased temperatures cause droughts that lead to food shortage in the drought stricken areas. Global warming has negative effects to occupants of earth.
Studies explain that global warming leads to abrupt climate changes around the world. The destruction of the ozone layers leads to unexpected changes in the weather patterns. Increased temperatures cause unexpected rainfall and other weather changes. Global warming leads to increased flooding and precipitation. The increase in temperatures leads to excess rainfall that resulting to flooding. The global warming leads...
