Working women.
History describe women as fragile God’s creature. This is a misleading idea that leads to the opinion among most men who think that, women cannot effectively perform similar job needs as they do. In most cases, men are the breadwinners while women are required to stay at home and be responsible for household chores (Mendelson, 2004). In our present society, in which women are tirelessly struggling for equal job opportunities, those who oppose argue that, work is dangerous for family life and women’s health. In today’s world, it is very important for women to have a career due to several reasons.
Career result to positive impact on the personal life of women. It is important for women to go to work due to the fact that it helps in enhancing their talent, and fully utilize their education, more so for those women with Diploma or experience and equivalent qualification. Additionally, working women are independent and do not have to rely on their husbands for financial support, since she can fulfil all that she needs without having to be accountable to any person within the family (Mendelson, 2004). Furthermore, working life is very exciting, hence a working woman will not fee too much bored sitting at home, doing nothing else other than household chores and taking care of children.
A working woman is also able to raise enough money for her future and raising a family. Working women are able to help in ensuring financial stability of the family. A husband’s earnings combined with wife’s earnings makes the family to run smoothly without experiencing any financial hurdles. The children also get what is best for them since the financial stability of both parents makes them able to afford (Fisanick, 2008). Working women also shower more love, considering the fact that they have to stay away from home for long time. Therefore, when they come back from work, the little time spend with children is full of love. It is also worth noting that working women save some money from their earnings and later invest in business and other things that brings them more profit. Through this, they are able to plan for a better future for themselves and for the family as whole.
Working women also bring different skills to work place compared to men. For instance, unlike men, women are excellent at time management and multi-tasking due to the fact that they take care of home and work. Women can also be more empathetic and understanding. It is also worth noting that women are more intelligent and hardworking. Therefore, they concentrate on their work and put in all their efforts in ensuring job well done, hence increasing quality and quantity. There high possibility for a company with more women as workers to have more clients compared to companies with less women and more men ("7 Awesome Advantages of Having a Working Mum"). This is because women are good at listening to client’s needs and show mercy and willingness to assist the best way possible.
In today’s world, it is very crucial for women to have a career. Working women are able to earn enough money for the future and raising the family in an excellent manner (Jones, 2012). It is also an opportunity for women to show how good they are in managing time, whereby they have to work and also take care of the children.
