COD has put in place diversity initiatives, civic engagement on diversity and inclusion, and intercultural student activities that promote equity in resource accessibility to enhance inclusivity in the college community. Like the rest of the world, the COD community embraces and values diversity by ensuring that they develop strategies for protecting diversity. All stakeholders of the college community play a major role in protecting diversity. Students are given equal opportunities in offering services at the college such as leadership positions and leading co-curricular programs. Staff ensure that all students are subjected to equal opportunity across all the college departments such as resource allocations. Embracing diversity at the college helps the students in engaging themselves with the real world's workplace where they interact with people from different races and cultures. Through the policy on diversity and equality, COD can foster the all-rounded development of students through the provision of different learning perspectives and prepare the COD students for real-world scenarios.
