How did Santiago use "alchemy/positive thinking" to find his personal legend?  How could positive thinking and action help you become an "alchemist" in your own life in relation to both success and health?
There is nothing on this earth which one is not in a position to have as long as they mentally accept the fact that they can have it. As Paulo Coelho indicates in his article, “When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream (121)." In other words, one becomes what he always thinks he is. To carry an affirmative action then one must develop a positive vision. Santiago is a great positive thinker. He is a fictional individual encountered in a storybook titled alchemy. Santiago would not despair every difficult moment he encountered on his quest to find the treasure destined to him. This essay attempts to account for Santiago’s success in life and explores positive thinking and action towards improving one's health as well as the determinants of a successful life.
Santiago had a dream that persuaded him to seek treasure near the pyramids of Egypt's. He did not dismiss it as a mere dream, but he took heed from it and fulfilled his desire to travel and earns him wealth, experience and wisdom. But fear of failure almost made him quit trying.
