The key message that Regina sends to the readers is the idea that despite any difficult moment in life, all of us can succeed. She also informs the readers of the value of family bonding. She and her four siblings lived a hopeless life in their childhood. They never knew their biological fathers. Their mother was an absentee, depressed woman who always abused them. The siblings kept the bond, helping each other and even covering for the absence of their mother to avoid separation by social workers. However, despite these odds in life, later on, Regina emerged as a lawyer seeking justice for others who are in the same state as her siblings when they were separated. Additionally, she appears as one of the best booksellers. Even with difficulties, the siblings maintained the family bond and succeeded in life.
