Introduction
The theme of civil rights is evident in the poems of Death Fogue and the Forced March, which Paul Celan and Miklos Radnoti have compiled. In this poem, Paul Celan, a survivor of the Holocaust, deploys poetic and imagery language to convey messages of how enormity and suffering are evident within concentration camps. There are many shreds of evidence of repetition and imageries to explain the theme of civil rights in the poems. Similarly, there have been consistent discussions on how Paul Celan's and Miklos Radnoti works can be viewed from an artistic perspective. For instance, the poets have used various imageries that have been used to explain the theme of civil rights. In the poem of Death Fugue, the officer sees Jewish prisoners as lesser human beings and therefore takes pleasure in their misery.
