There are indifferent circumstances whereby we have been getting various news about mass shootings every other time. As such, gun violence has become a complicated, multifaceted issue that needs to be considered urgent. It should be dealt with in an evidence-based manner, as well as multidimensional solutions. Consequently, gun violence is becoming an important human rights issue that has risen to be an interest of concern to indifferent individuals. This issue of concern is continuously affecting the livelihood of several persons. Firstly, gun violence can be committed by using firearms like pistols, assault riffles, Machine guns, and shotguns. Again, and as mentioned above, more than five hundred people have met their deaths through gun violence. As a consequence, that translates to forty-four of such being homicides that globally involve gun violence (Rowan et al.). As in the period between two thousand and twelve and two thousand and sixteen, there have been more than 1.4 million firearms-related deaths in the whole world. In most cases, the number that is majorly associated with these acts or the victims are the young men. However, women are also at risk of gun violence through the nearby inmate partner.
