The Titanic film
The “Titanic film” is a famous film written and directed by James Cameron. The events in the movie begin to take shape when Jack saves Rose who wanted to commit suicide by falling into the sea. Later, the two starts to fall in love. After Jack's confession to Rose, Rose was moved. That afternoon, she and Jack were standing on the bow, facing the sunset, open arms, and feeling of flying wonderful. "Titanic" has become the background of this pair of lovers and witnessed their love. The next is a very famous picture; Rose took the heart of the ocean that Caledon or simply “Cal” gave her, lying on the sofa. Jack was surprised but was still calm to complete the portrait. However, an iceberg appears in an unavoidable position that forces the Titanic ship with no alternative but to hit it. Cal allowed Rose on the lifeboat, but Rose jumped out of the lifeboat and decided to remain with Jack.
All of the male and female behavior-motivation is breaking the secular concept of family and the pursuit of a better love. When life is threatened, it brings people hope. For example, during the sinking of the ship, the ship's musicians calmly played their instruments; the men protected their wives and children aboard the lifeboat. The old couple hugged their love in bed; a mother could be seen narrating a story to a child; Captain Smith at the helm and Jack assured Rose that he would live well. Jack and Rose made progress towards a better future; he drew the image of Rose’ nude wearing the diamond ring.
Various incidents in the film led to my emotions to rise. For instance, when the ship hit an iceberg, the film went through the accident process. The moment made me full of tension, worry, fear and expectation, but there were people on deck to play and play with ice cubes. I wondered what would happen to Jack who had been arrested and taken to the lower deck where water would probably being to enter the ship. When the rescue boats were made available, it was certain that no one would save Jack because they began by rescuing the wealthy who had boarded the Titanic; for example, Rose had to be taken out of the Titanic because she was engaged to Cal a rich suitor (Wayne 4). The viewer is made to believe that Jack will die because no one will be interested in freeing him because he was poor. Another incident that is emotional is when Jack dies in the freezing water; the viewer of the film is made to wonder why he had to die in water and close to his lover who had been supported on a wreck of a ship that could only help one person to float. Despite the fearful emotions, the director of the film also wanted to trigger the emotions happiness and love to the audience. For example; Rose fails to board the rescue boat and decides to rescue her lover who was already beginning to drown in the room where he had been tied. Again, when the ship was going to sink, a band on the ship played a relaxing music regardless of what was happening on the ship; the musicians were not in a hurry to save their lives and they sunk with the ship while singing.
When the ship was sinking, it reminded me of an incident when I witnessed a couple that was yet to get married being involved in a fatal accident. The husband to be was amputated both legs, and despite the worse experience, the lady went ahead and married him due to the love that she had for him. Despite the events that surrounded Jack’s life, such as being accused of stealing the diamond necklace, belonging to a low-class status and the scene when the ship was sinking, Rose did not want to leave Jack. She even went to rescue him in a dangerous room that was already being flooded with water. I saw the “heart of the ocean" is run through the whole film. It plays many roles in the movie, and it explains the important role it plays in the film.
"Titanic" is a narrative art. I think the film is in the narrative, while the use of all can inspire the audience's emotions. The purpose of the film is not to introduce a story to people, but rather, it intends to stimulate people's emotions and feelings. For exa...
