Humans' primary activity in life is to communicate with others. Without communication, no one would have been capable enough to gain new perspectives or understand the person in front of them. Moreover, our world would be boring, dull, and meaningless without communication. Therefore, communication skills are essential, and they play an enormous role in our lives as we interact with others continuously, whether to state a point, express ourselves, or transfer our knowledge. However, since communication is always two-sided, the key to robust, meaningful, and purposeful communication lies behind listening more than talking. Some may believe that directly responding and thinking about what to say during a conversation is the most crucial part of communication. Still, listening helps individuals to engage effectively in a good conversation. Effective listening should be considered more important than talking because listening to other points and perspectives would expand knowledge and empathy and improve engagement within the conversation with intelligent and on-point answers.
