Institutional Sexism Arises from the Organizational Structure (Essay Sample)

Instructions:

Institutional sexism arises from the organizational structure segregating a particular
gender while making the other gender superior. Gender inequality can be mitigated by
confronting gender sexism, such as gender stereotypes, increasing public consciousness,
mentorship, and enforcing existing laws based on gender harassment (Llorens et al., 2021). In
many organizations, men are portrayed as having company features such as achievement
orientation and competence. At the same time, women are seen as being weak due to affiliation
tendencies, emotional sensitivity, and deference.
