Macbeth is a tragedy book written by William Shakespeare. The book is a classic tragedy as the protagonist is engrossed in dark deeds. Macbeth travels in a dark part, which later leads to his downfall. The book was written by William Shakespeare as a classic tragedy in 1607 and published in 1623. Macbeth tells the story of a general named Macbeth who is cornered into being a king after a prophecy by the three witches. Macbeth, therefore, seizes power after killing King Duncan and becomes the King. However, Macbeth rules with paranoia and violence, killing many people. He was paranoid about being killed hence never trusted anyone. The three witches emblems the holy trinity: the father, the son, and the holy spirit (Philo & John-Mark, 250). William Shakespeare's book is a book of class that displays numerous contemporary themes from lousy leadership, witchcraft to violence, and death. Macbeth is one of many of Shakespeare's literary prowess in terms of writing plays. The book is a classic tragedy in that the hero, who is Macbeth, falls from fortune to misfortune as Macbeth, who is the protagonist, is crippled with shortcomings after becoming the King.
