My Favorite Summer Season
America is a country of diverse climatic conditions. Individuals residing in this country usually enjoy different seasons, such as winter, summer, and spring every year. Generally, my favorite season of the year is summer due to the warm weather, the school trips, and endless fun. Overall, the summer season begins in April and ends in June, where it is then followed by the rainy season. I truly enjoy the warm weather as it is the ideal time to perform various outdoor activities. Similarly, my favorite part regarding the summer season involves when the learning institutions are closed for about three weeks. During the summer, I am free to conduct any activity by not even worrying about waking up early in the morning to get ready for school. Again, the summer period is the best time for me to spend more time interacting with family members and my friends by immersing in the sun at the beach or simply having lunch together. There are several reasons why summer is my favorite season of the year but primarily due to the warm weather, relaxing and interacting with family and friends, and obviously, my yearly beach vacation with the family members.
Enjoyment of Warm Weather
When I think of the summer season, the first thing that comes to my mind is its warm weather. The warm weather is the best for outdoor activities such as swimming in a pool, playing various games, and enjoying parties and celebrations together for the children like me. Usually, when whether is attractive with the sun out, with no cloud in the sky and a slight cool breeze, all I want to do is to be outside the house swimming in a pool or playing around with my siblings. Unlike during the cold season, I do not feel like walking out of the house, but I need to stay warm by bundling myself with a warm blanket.
Spending more time with Family and Friends
The summer period is the only season I spend more time with my family members and friends. Summer is the only time my siblings and friends are out of the school environment for a holiday, so we conduct various outdoor activities during the gatherings. For instance, during the weekends, we usually cook and party together as friends. We play different football, basketball, and tennis games, swimming in the pool, and even fishing together with my younger siblings. During the evening hours, we always have family dinner together with my parents and siblings. In general, whatever we do during this season, we always take full advantage of the attractive weather time as we enjoy warm sunlight while eating summer foods such as hotdogs and hamburgers. When the sun sets in the evening, I usually reflect off the water. Honestly, I cannot help but thank the Almighty God for all I have in life and enjoy and celebrate together with my loving family members and friends.
