CHILDHOOD DREAMS
Growing up as a child is always an incredible journey. From conception a child is brought forth with a lot
of expectation both from the parents and the society as a whole. As the child grows this dreams and
expectation begins to take shape mostly as a result of influence the child gets from the parents as well
as those close. As parent it is always a dream come true to see your kid grow up to be an important
person in the society. But what creates this dream?A child environment largely dictates the kind of the
person he or she will become. Praise and encouragement results to the child growing up motivated
knowing in order to achieve the good name or attributes associated with him or her has to live an
exception life.AS ages goes by, the childhood dream becomes more to a reality, however the child now
gets to understand what is involved in achieving the dream. Through support from both parents and
society, it would be almost impossible not to achieve this dream. The part played by the child now a
grown up is however the nailing factor to whether the dream will become a reality or not.
As a child I always had a dream to become a pilot. This dream is always common to many children. It is
lead by the imagination of how good it would feel to ride high on a plane which for many is only visible
from the ground. For me however I saw this as a real possibility, perhaps I was motivated by the fact
that from early age I was always fascinated by science and mathematics. My parents wee quickly to
notice this dream and set up mechanism which I would come to know later in life. It’s always amazed
me however whenever I saw my neighbor with those airlines industry and even gave me the hope, that
one day I myself will be like her.
To achieve a dream however not an easy thing is, it must first be a passion and second it must be a

reality. Dreams come in our lives in order to make us become better person who are able to project
their lives. However for a dream to become reality. It must involve the continuous hope and prayers and
determination that one day a given dream wills com to pass.
My school life was the most demanding as I knew very well what was expected of me in order to
achieve this dream. It took hard sacrifice and self motivation in believing I would come out the person
my dream dictated I become. There were times however I thought to abandon the dream as it was just
that a dream, However it’s always mysterious how a single faith in a dream can radically change our
attitudes and enables us become better people. My school teacher always emphasized on dream and
their importance but it did not affect me as much since I had my dream already well fashioned in my
mind.
However the academic part which had to be involved in pertaining the dream was the most
Challenging. I knew very well from beginning I has to work extra hard in areas to do with science,
geography and mathematics. Having known this from the beginning enabled me to generate an interest
and to some extent force myself to like them. Mathematics was for instant a hard subject for me and
most of my mates but the dream enabled me work harder.
My dream however has not come to pass yet, but the progress and the determination which has
resulted from me having this dream is good enough to enable me strongly believe that it’s only a matter
of time until I make this into a reality.
One good lesson I have learnt all through the years is that for a dream to stand it requires self
motivation and visualization. It is also essential to keep yourself apart and close to people who would
enable you realize the importance of what you contain and if not support it financially at least inspire
you mentally. I have learnt a dream needs cultivation and an ability to see the positive side of it no
matter how circumstance may seem to dictate.
A dream however to be successful must be to the limit of possiilty.A pilot is defiantly one of them. The

idea of being responsible for many lives on board made me feel proud and made me get even more
responsible over other smaller roles. A dream not only shapes your character but builds you up and
enables you become well as you perfect what you perceive to be a worthwhile goal.
Many of my mates however didn’t live to see their dreams come true, some faded on the way as they
were dreams with ...
