Introduction
The following is a negotiation process between owners of apartment #75 which is located in Kilimani Nairobi. Negotiation is considered to be a dialogue or a conversation between two people or parties with an intended purpose of a making a proper agreement. Buyers and sellers engage into the process of negotiations in order to ensure that both parties are satisfied. The paper will include an outline of the negotiation process that needs to be employed in order to reach a conclusion in buying the house in Kilimani, Nairobi. As part of international relations proper negotiations skills needs to be applied in order to come up with a clear solution (Sawyer, & Guetzkow, 1965).
Owners: Thank you all for agreeing to come. As you all know we are going to negotiate over the sale of the apartment #75. Since you have expressed your interest in buying the apartment, it is important for us to reach a clear conclusion. It’s my hope that each of us will be satisfied at the end of our negotiations. I would like to inform you that we have lawyers who will ensure that all legal matters are taken care of. It is also my hope that you have prepared all the documents which are needed in order to close the deal successfully. Please feel free to ask any question or give a comment. This is for the success of our negotiation process.

Owners: As Antony has mentioned, ground rules will help us to have a successful process. One is that we need to manage time, avoid running out of topic and give each other a chance of communicating. As the owners of the apartment #75, we would like to inform you about the state of the apartment and later our price. First is that from the time we bought the apartment, we have improved its states considering that there are several unique features that we have added. First is the high tech aviare for exotic birds. The apartment is also in good condition and all its features have been take care of. We would now want to state our price in order for you know. We have agreed to sell our apartment for $200,000. This is according to the state of the market. We therefore expect you to state your price and thus open a door for negotiations.
Phoebe Royse: Based on the given information, I agree that the apartment is in a better condition but totally disagree with the mentioned price. The price that you have stated is too high and it would be good if you lower it. May be you can highlight some of the considerations that you have made in order to reach to that amount.
