Personal responsibility is simply defined as accepting to own a wrong done by self, apologize to the offended even if self; initiate actions to undo the wrong and accept any consequence which results. Following the mentioned steps importantly contribute to creation of good character.
Personal or individual responsibility requires a personage to be accountable for own actions. According to social tasks every individual have personal model of conducting stuff while living their personal lives. This model resembles business or organizations that function to offer opportunities to people. They are delegated with responsibility in ensuring products, services and goods are affordable and fully serve their intended purpose. There are consequences associated with failure to take right actions.
“When I ignore taking my personal responsibility, people present in my social environment equally suffer in ways not anticipated to self”. Therefore, it is of paramount importance for people to be taught importance of responsibility from tender age. People incorporate what they learn in early stages of life and incorporate them to assist in leading a positive healthy life.
The first important responsibility is taking care of oneself from inside out while effectively being in control of their emotions and life needs. It is important to for one to keep sound judgment and treat other with due respect. Any wrong doing consequentially have negative results, for example developing unhealthy and poor eating habits lead to bad health which leads to sickness..
Highly successful reputable people in the society have one character in common which is individual accountability. An personality who is incapable of managing himself or herself cannot resultantly conduct personal affairs in a dependable way. In regards to college studies, it is detrimental that I must first manage my character to fit in learning environment. After which, one will be able to schedule for class, balance study time, be punctual when submitting assignments and preparing for exam adequately. All these actions result into excellent performance in college which is a result of effective personal responsibility.
When it comes to management of finance, it is equally important that personal responsibility enable a person to come up with plans for investment and spending. Before going to the mall to shop, it is important for one to form a habit of creating a shopping list and sticking to the budget to avoid unnecessary spending or overspending which is an act of irresponsibility. It is also important for one to schedule part of personal income to investment so that when one is unable to earn, the accumulated money can be used to cover for the deficiency.
We have unexpected happenings or occurrences such as sickness or accidents which are results of unavoidable circumstances. When am not responsible, such situations can lead to losses due to irresponsibility. When acute sickness surfaces and one was not responsible enough to save for emergency spending, it will put an individual in awkward position of opting for a loan or begging for help while everybody should be responsible enough to take care of personal challenges.
God gave everybody assets including brains, hands plus other many more to use in overcoming daily challenges in life. When one takes responsibility, the result is always magnificent and motivating. The fact that one can plan, execute the plan within personal and governmental scope leads to happy, structured and stress free lifestyle where personal growth in optimum. Achievements and success in all aspects of life is credited to excellent personal management and general responsibility.
