Describing Preffered Movies And My Favorite Films (Essay Sample)
Different people have varying reasons that determine their choice of movies. While some prefer watching movies that prompt them to think, there are those that fancy films that make them laugh. Personally, I prefer watching comedies. I feel that comical movies offer an avenue through which people can relieve stress by allowing one to relax and unwind. Additionally, humorous films contain social lessons that can enlighten young people on the best behaviors to adopt in the society. Most of the prominent productions in the comedy industry always try to underscore the daily experiences of life by wittily incorporating humor that mirrors what is happening in the society. This paper explicates two of the reasons behind my predilection for comedies.

Comedies tend to make us less serious about life and allow us to laugh at ourselves. One of my favorite films is the Hangover 3, a very simple-scripted but hilarious motion picture, directed by Todd Phillips. The film, just like other numerous comedies, appealed to a huge fan base since its many hilarious scenes offered viewers a chance to look at the humor in life and laugh ridiculously about it.
