Why do people like the video game?
Video game refers to the games driven by the electronics and which requires people involvement associated with user touch to create a visual response to a video gadget or mechanism like the Television screen and computers. Video games are played on various platforms such as laptops, desktop, android or smartphones and cheap home video games such as PlayStation 4.
Initially, in the 1980s video games was on as common as it is in the 21st century since it was expensive and high technology was not yet discovered. In the 21st-century video games became rampant due to the improved technology and the birth of the smartphones as well as the rise of cyber cafes whereby video games are played at affordable rates. Both the adults and the children have shown interest and play video games some for fun and other for educational purposes among other reasons. Despite the negative perspectives of many researchers that video games is associated with addition, fight among other harms, video games still play a great impact in the life of many people.

Unlike people who enjoy being alone reading a novel and watching movies, Video games have more social interaction since they have to play with partners from different background depending on the occasion. Video players can either play with the family, friends or work mates either together or compete against the other. Video games attracts the attention of many players globally, for instance, World of Warcraft is a game played by more than two players very famous in social platform among the Facebook users which is played by more than five million Facebook users daily, the users from all over the world will have to contribute on how the games go, therefore, social interaction is enhanced with people from different countries. Video games such as Candy crush Saga also have many players among Facebook users and the more points and level you reach you are given a competitor from another country, thus, the player’s gains social skills due to the competition.
Video games improve the health and education of a person. Great impact is evidenced in the health and educational sector in relation to playing video games, medical sector has ruled out the positive effect of playing video among their patients, major medical step has been witnessed through the publishing of the journal Games for health in which people can read on the successful recovery of patients as a result of playing a particular video game.
