In the transition process from childhood to adulthood, there are several situations and difficulties that an individual faces in addition to the barriers that should be overcome for one to progress, given that individuals come from different backgrounds and thus have varied experiences. There a moment when one is faced with adversities that need to be conquered and therefore not letting them define ones’ destiny, honor them. Mot the adversities experienced in the realm of academic life by most students relates to financial constraints encountered I the financing studies especially for those who would like to pursue higher education. I as brought up a background which was no financially stable in a suburb in an East African country. My parents had to struggle and find means of getting money so as to fund my elementary school education ease my learning process. Most of the times I could always go and my father in making vegetable deliveries in the nearby groceries after coming from school in the evening. I used to compare the life that most of my peers and classmates lived and just found myself miserable. My mum used to encourage me not to give up and that I should work hard in school so as to mold a bright future my future. Eventually we sat for the final examinations and when the results were out, I was among the best student. Although I was overwhelmed with joy because of the massive success, my greatest fear was the financial adversity that I was facing as I contemplated on going forward to pursue my high school studies. I just had trust and hope that all will work out well and I will not drop out of school due to inadequacy of finances. My parents managed to cater for my fees and upkeep during the schooling years and just as I was in my elementary level, I never disappointed them since I managed to score straight As in my final examinations, and people congratulated me having overcome the financial adversity which had posed as a barrier in my up for my goals.
This was not going to be the climax of my academic life since I had a dream of going to the university and pursue an entrepreneurship related degree. I shifted to the United States with the primary goal of acquiring entrepreneurial skills that I can utilize in transforming my country in addition to making significant impact on h
