Drug trafficking and drug abuse continue to be a major challenge in the field of sports. In recent years, many athletes and their agents have been punished or convicted of trafficking, being in possession or using enhancement drugs CITATION CNN18 \l 1033 (CNN). For some of these athletes, they have often argued that there was nothing illegal about using enhancement drugs. What they do not know is that any drug that falls under controlled substance is illegal.

Drug convictions are also very severe in terms of building a career or personal growth. In any case, different forms of illegal drugs have their own penalties.
