Introduction
To date, Christianity is among the widely practiced religions around the world, with over 2 billion adherent followers. While the Christian faith started with a few committed and determined followers, its proliferation and adoption emerge as one of the most successful missions in human history. Early Christianity emanated from Jewish messianism and Hellenistic Judaism typified by a series of eschatological expectations. Jewish Christians were the first Christians who advanced into thee veneration of a deified Christ upon witnessing his birth, growth, ministry and crucifixion. Over time, the infiltration of the gentiles created a division between Jewish and Gentile Christianity, thereby permitting the rise of orthodox and rabbinic Judaism. Forthwith, the Jewish Christians left the mainstream Judaism to form a minority sub strand. While the separation between Judaism and Christianity took place in the early centuries, it fostered the formulation of other religious outfits and strands that dominate the modern society. Therefore, the multifaceted separation of the early Church in Jerusalem raises grave concerns as to whether it was a Christian, proto Islamic, Jewish sect Church.
