Name Professor Course Date There is no hope of doing perfect research Yes, it is clear to agree with the phrase "There is no hope of doing perfect research”. It simply means careful search of a subject in order to get new facts. Hope on the other hand means emotional belief in positive results. The main reason as to agreeing with the statement above do human beings do that research has different limitations such as ones stated below. Human failing is significant in every man in coming up or gathering up of data that suits one ideological positions. A good example is when a Christian does research on importance of alcohol there is an innate tug to find examples of disease caused by the use of alcohol that are against the Christian law. However, alcohol may bring revenue to the country through imposition of taxes and chances of abortion in some cases that the church does not support. Culture is another factor influencing research; this is because people have different norms and believes this may hinder a good research, as one may not agree to do against his culture. A good example is the Africans believe that female genital mutilation must take place at puberty, and that research in the subject is not quite acceptable. However, if an individual has to research about the negative effects of female genital mutilation he may tend to oppose and try to share the importance of the female genital mutilation that has more harm on growth and development of women. Either due to the aspect of difference in personality, some researchers who use the trial and error method may bring imperfection in research as the data values or information given is not accurate. Personality may hinder in perfection of research as some people are affected by irritation and impatience that is a factor that hinders perfect research. This may be expected to wait for some response and maybe lead to harassment of the people with actual figures of a research. Some researchers may lack confidence in undertaking some tasks as one may be frustrated after the failure of some research. The lack of skill and knowledge may hinder perfect research as imperfectness may not be of low standard, low quality, and grammar related mistakes might also be experienced. Researchers require equipment such as computers, tablets and calculators. People who may undertake some research may have some difficulty in using some of these tools to either input data or search information. Competition may cause imperfection in research as people or companies may try to compete against each other or against time. This may cause jealousy in cropping up against some of the parties such as Isaac Newton was accused of trying to bring pet ideas into science as his idea was alleged to introduce cultism into science (Gillham 93). On the contrary, the laws turned to be useful to today's learning of science in particular physics. Change in times has caused difficulty in accurate research due to evolving times such as in the 21 century. The use of computers is a common and rampant tool to use in day-to-day activities. Issues such as morals changes as people try to divert to the new trend such as fashion. The changes may try to interfere with already done research.
