Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Among all the classical composers who a special mark in the History of Music, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart can be categorized as the most famous and most definitely, he is among the most accomplished. In the present world, his compositions still hold on firmly in regards to classical music, his over 600 pieces that he composed are extensively heard and celebrated throughout concerts around the world (Jakarta 1). His music excites me because he extended it to all types and styles of music. He had the knowledge on how blend the contemporary and traditional elements of music hence coming up with his own distinctive style. His style was involved thematic elements and tonal variety which were melded by formal discipline of high degree. Mozart's compositions varied from melodic, dynamic and rhythmic contrasts (Barth 23).
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1751, to Leopold and Maria Mozart. He was born in Salzburg, which was a little town located the north central Austria (Barth 23). At that time this place was known as Bavarian Circle and it was in the heart of Holy Roman Empire (Barth 23). Amadeus had an older sister called Anna Mozart; this was his only sibling who survived past births. Mozart's family was musical, Mozart's father Leopold, was an author of a famous violin play manual and he was also a deputy director of music to the Salzburg's archbishop (Barth 23).
When Wolfgang was 3 years old, he was already interested in playing the piano. Within a year after this, Mozart began to compose music (Barth 23). His talent was suddenly growing up drastically than before. From the beginning, Leopold was excited about the young Mozart's talent. When he became four years old, his father trained him hard every day (Jakarta 1). In the year 1762, Nannerl and Mozart got an invitation for a concert in Munich's castle of Bavaria. After this concert, people nicknamed Mozart as "infant prodigy." After a short while, they were invited to another concert in Vienna, a young Wolfgang performed his tricks of playing the piano with one finger as well as playing the piano with eyes closed (Barth 23). This greatly impressed the King and Queen of Vienna. Mozart got a great teacher, san Martini, while in Bologna, who taught him how to perform a duet concert perfectly well. Mozart was a serious and fast learner hence he learned quickly (Jakarta 1). After some tests Martini promoted Mozart as a member of Organization of Music Lovers at the age of 14. He was the youngest in the history of Academia Filarmonica (Barth 23).
At this young age, Mozart become famous and travelled throughout Europe (Jakarta 1). In the early 1770s, he spent most of his rime in Vienna and it was particularly rewarding since it was in this time that he composed some two operas, that is ‘Mitridate' and ‘Lucio Silla' (Barth 23). Later in the 1770s, His first operas had started being performed in Germany. He got employed from 1774 to 1777 at the Prince Archbishops court in Salzburg. During this period, Mozart took his time to complete his violin concertos, along with various masses and symphonies, six piano sonatas along with other pieces (Barth 23).
In the next few years, Mozart searched for further fields as a classical composer. He traveled to Paris, then to Munich and then back to Vienna. Mozart supplemented his music-career income by either teaching music or playing it either in public or in private. The composer got...
