World war two 1936/1937
Introduction
World war two started up as early as 1936, preceded by a series of events worldwide. Some various treaties and agreements were breached, resulting in the start of the war. The United States Kellogg-Briand Pact agreement with fourteen other nations, which stated that declaring war was an international crime, was breached by various nations, which led to the disruption of peace. There was the formation of the aggressive militia who took control of Japan in the early 1930s. The war from different countries was escalated as most there were invasions to the other countries territory. The difference in ideology for different nations brought conflicts as each country promoted their ideologies across the world. Despite having peace treaties among the countries, there was a consistent breach of most of them, leading to war. The attacks on different territories also contributed to countries engaging in a war that kept expanding to other nations until most countries actively participated in the war.
The eruption of World War two
The Anti-Comintern Pact of November 12, 1936, between Germany and Japan, pledged each other's support to defend themselves from any international agency organized to promote communism across the world. Italy joined the pact in 1937, which formed military troops for Axis powers. Japan intended to constitute an empire for itself which triggered them to form a new nation in the northern part of Chinese provinces called Manchukuo. It raised much protest against Japan, but they did nothing else. In 1937, China and japan troops clashed and resulted in Japanese troops invading the Chinese territories in a Marco Polo Bridge Incident. The Chinese suffered defeat, resulting in even raping their women and destroying much of their assets, putting the nation into an international outcry. The incidents got worse in the USA when a troop of Chinese American scouts defied a boy in New York City.
The rise of Hitler in Germany and the Nazis party led to tensions across the globe as Hitler promised to return Germany greatness. Hitler then started rebuilding his military, disregarding the initial agreements which advocated for peace. It was then followed by withdrawing Germany from the League of Nations, and he dispatched his troops to the border with France in Rhineland in 1936, contrary to Versatile Treaty. In the United States in 1935 had signed up a Neutrality act in which they banned the sale of military equipment to the nations who engaged in war. The act was breached in 1936 as they started giving loans to the countries which were fighting against each other. In 1937, the act of which neutrality act prohibited weapons' transportation was also ignored, and battleships were used to transport weapons to the nations they supported during the war.
The Japanese military support of the capitalist economy helped build a healthy and prosperous nation that focused on modernization. Japaneseviewed the Soviet Union, a communist, as an ideological enemy and were explicitly targeting China. It thus led to the rise of anti-communist sentiments, which fueled the war between the countries. American counter-proposal after the persistence of the Japan-China war in 1937 required Japan to withdraw their troops from the Chinese territories and enter in non-aggression pacts with all Pacific powers. In response to the proposal, the Japanese attacked the United States Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, which led to the destruction of the pacific fleet. They launched two waves of attack in 1937 consisting of 353 bombers that hit eight battleships and sunk four of them, including several cruisers and destroyers. Subsequently, they attacked Hong Kong, Mal
