Presidency and monarchy
There have been different kinds of governance from time immemorial. These are the ones which have being seeing to it that governments thrive or fail. Some of these include presidency and monarchy. There are several differences between presidency and monarchy. These differences are the ones which help us see how these are varied, as this affects how everything works. Talking of monarchy, this is a form of governance which is held by a leader who is referred to as a monarch .The monarch happens to be a king or a queen. Presidency, on the other hand, is a form of governance which is headed by the president as the main person who directs the rule of law, as by the decisions by the leaders that assist him in governance. Below is a brief description on the differences that there are between presidency and monarchy.
First of all, there is difference on the time setting regarding the two .Presidency came after monarchy. Monarchy existed as a form of governance long time ago. It has reduced in modern world .Presidency is the main form of governance in the main world and many countries have embraced that. The countries that still maintain monarchy are few.
Secondly, monarchy is hereditary while presidency is not. A monarch is inherited by a close relative, especially a son. There are ties to families .We have families that show royalty, from where the leader is born. The leader to acquire the monarchy is acquired on the regard to many aspects that define a good leader from the family, regarding the setup of the community. on the other hand, presidency is not hereditary .a president is elected by the people and anybody is allowed to participate in elections, provided they have the requirements set by a particular country in regard to the type of leader that a country wishes to have.
When it comes to presidency, there are no ties to religion .Presidency can take anybody to act as a ruler, regardless of who they are and what they believe in .However, when it comes to monarchy, we have religious ties. Most monarchs are based on religion and the beliefs that a certain people possess and live by. In that regard, it is the religion of a people that a royal family is gotten, considering that religion is part and parcel of any social setting, being the guide to how we behave and what we do.
The other difference is the place of residence for the rulers. Presidents reside in state houses .On the other hand, monarch reside in dynasties .A dynasty may be a place where a king lives. These monarch are made by the rulers and they raise their families there. However, state houses are made by a nation and once a president is out of office, they leave the residence to some other place.
However, we have a common similarity between the two. These two forms of governance are aimed at serving the people. Therefore, we have democracy in both. The leaders do not decide on their own. They work according to the laws of a nation and what ...
