Laws are a set of guidelines which or rules which a community or a society follows and of which can attract a punishment or consequences when broken and they dictate the conduct of the people. In defining the above it will be clear on what to talk about, this is because the criminal legal system involves laws to follow and adhere to. These two countries have a set of different laws and guidelines on how to conduct oneself in each and every proceeding as a criminal. Therefore, in this paper I am going to demystify the two criminal legal systems and how they operate. This is because in the current society people travel a lot from one point to another and that involves different countries that they don’t understand their laws. In that situation one can easily commit a crime and of course prosecuted for what you thought to be right in accordance with your laws. Hence by expounding on the criminal legal systems of the two countries it can help one to fully adhere to simple things that might put them in trial as they visit those countries. This paper also is going to break down each important bit of the legal systems from each country and summarize them in the academically understandable manner, this is because it means a lot to the law students as it helps one to get a gist of the criminal legal system within a short span before digging deep.
