Socrates: The Identity Theory of the Truth
The Identity Theory of the Truth was utilized during the years of modern analytic philosophy, whereby it has emerged to be prominent recently. This theory states that some bearers of the truth are not true but are relatively identical, especially regarding facts. Additionally, the theory is applied to the expression of the sentence but not the sentence’s declaration level. Socrates was a Greek philosopher from Athens. Socrates assisted significantly in the establishment of Greek philosophy, which became the foundation of Western Philosophy. Ideally, he mainly concentrated on how people should function. Critically, the truth is a virtue that should be observed without any form of alterations whatsoever regardless of the consequences.
