Name: Instructor: Course: Date: Youth and Education in Nazi Germany Introduction Life in Nazi Germany is the era of Adolf Hitler's rule that ensured total changes to the structure of the government. Hitler used Nazism culture in Germany during the 1930s and 1940s to make sure that he controls the Germany's leadership and the world as a whole (Heck 47).The culture came as a result of the Versailles treaty that thwarted German's economy, political and social stability. The situation forced Hitler to formulate an efficient platform to boost Germany's regime under Nazism. During this period, Germany experienced various changes in its economy, education, health among others. The Nazi German placed much emphasis on the young people who were indoctrinated to start following the Nazism philosophy through education. He emphasized that the ultimate purpose of education was to fashion the citizen's conscious of the glory of the country and filled with fanatical devotion for the national cause that would furnish the necessary elite.(Louis Snyder).Further, the Adolf Hitler used the education systems to prove to the world that the youths are at the center stage of promoting Germany superiority and production on the new intellectual mind. Adolf considered education to be a very important factor in Nazi Germany when he wrote the ‘Mein Kamp' while in prison at Landsberg, he said that "whoever has the youth has the future" and it could only be the education to approve his statement. Besides, Adolf Hitler repeatedly said on different public address conferences that the grown-up people are exhausted and have nothing new to develop the motherland and fight against the races that intend to exploit the Nazi government. Nevertheless, this paper seeks to discuss youth and education during the Nazi Germany. Education Systems Promoted Nazi Ideologies The Nazi party administration used the German education system as a process of coaching young people to grasp the ideologies of the Nazi party. The education system was restructured by Adolf Hitler to champion the philosophy of Germany superiority as it was one of the ultimate objectives of the party. The tutors taught subjects that stimulated knowledge of the young people regarding the defense and security of the motherland to ensure they join the national defense force voluntarily. Besides, the education system was organized for male youths, who were taught nationalism to become patriotic soldiers, and never at any single time Nazi party emphasized girls' education. Moreover, Adolf Hitler used the school system platform for creating a loyal and pro-Nazism youth generation that supported his term of governance (Bartoletti 23). Noteworthy, Hitler's failure to join the Academy of fine art in Vienna; he lost interest in aclass or formal education setting, which influenced him to encourage a system of learning beyond the desks. As a result, Hitler redirected the education system to encourage mostly physical well-being of the young people other than theory, which he considered useless. Shockingly, Adolf Hitler used the education system of Germany as a tool for promoting racism, which he considered exploitative regarding German resources including the Jews and the Americans. Further, he ensured that youth in such races study biology subjects, whereas the national youthswere taught physical wellbeing and patriotism to become loyal to his government. Therefore, the Nazi government exploited the education system of German to pursue loyalty for its ideologies (Trueman). Girls Were Never Allowed To Attend Education The Nazi government never created any opportunities for the female youths to attend education at all levels. Moreover, the ultimate goal for Adolf Hitler was to create a strong force that is power across the globe, which motivated him to deny the young girls the opportunities to learn. Further, Hitler believed that ladies were meant for domestic and reproductive roles, and never at any time can education help them achieve their role on earth. As a result, Hitler created a women's league platform that provided extra attention to young girls as they were mentored to produce more children and do domestic work for men who were soldiers. Moreover, the league encouraged the young girls to be loyal to their husbands, produce more children and act as spies for the government on the men who could be traitors (Doblin and Pohly 56).The nation lost manpower, and its future was uncertain since they had lost most of the able-bodied men in the war, thus creating the children of war in the process. Societies declined certain substantial activities like agriculture were left to be managed by women. Therefore, the Nazi government denied young girls education and forced them only to involve in domestic and reproductive activities like taking care of the husbands as well as producing more children to increase the number ofthearmy (Trueman). Education as a System of Nazism and Loyalty Indoctrination Adolf Hitler pursued a dream of having a loyal Germany population and soldiers that could listen and promote his ideologies of making Germany the strongest nation in the world and education was the only resort. Further, he wanted the education system to create a younger generation that was "virile and strong. As a result, Adolf turned the teachers forcefully to be loyal and preach the ideologies of the party to the young learners as his target population. Notably, the Hitler made the young students spy and report teachers who could be preaching the anti-Nazism propaganda that could influence the young people to oppose the government. Moreover, this attempt was a success as many youths were influenced to join the Nazi party and many become soldiers. For instance, the youth wing of the Nazi party...
