This essay will examine the implications of AI in the workforce, with a focus on the potential for job displacement and the need for reskilling and retraining of workers. One of the most significant implications of AI in the workforce is the potential for job displacement. A study by the McKinsey Global Institute found that up to 800 million jobs could be displaced by automation by 2030 (Manyika, et al., 2017).
