Understanding Extremophiles Adaptation (Essay Sample)

Watch a video lecture and identify one extremophile that interested you, record its adaptations and write about whether it increases the chances of life on other planets

From the video and my research, there is substantial evidence that extremophiles or animals that are highly adapted to “extreme conditions” are a fascinating part of the question of existence and life as we know it. Extreme conditions may typically refer to conditions such as temperature, salinity, radiation, heat, pressure, or nutrition. However, I think that our definition of extreme conditions is highly centered on our conception or perspectives of these conditions and not that of the concerned material organism. However, I also agree that the existence of extremophiles and the nature of their adaptations has great implications on how we look at the existence of life in other and even non-terrestrial environment.
