Microsoft also listed debt assets as 'available for sale' and reported the profits or losses earned using a different form of identification. A number of factors considered when deciding over debt and equity investments include; measurements at fair values, performance of the sector and industry, technological changes, factors of operation and cash flow (financing) (Herciu, Mihaela & Claudia 53). It was also evident that the Company majorly relies on borrowing as a way of sourcing funds for its operation. The long-term date currently stands at $ 66,200,000 as at the end of June 30, 2019.
