Emotional Appeal
Emotional appeal refers to any communication that is done purposefully to evoke emotions in the audience. Generally, emotional appeals are characterized by the use of high-inference language and concepts. Because of their popularity, many scholars, bloggers, and researchers, for a long time, have sought to write several articles that depict their usage. A famous example of a published book that documents emotional appeals is entitled "I Have a Dream." The author of the book is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a figure that occasionally employed emotional appeals in his writings and speeches.
