Question one
On the article "do these genes make me gay”, the author presents the possibilities of having gay genes in the human being gene sequences over the years. The main points in this argument are that the gay genes may be extinct in the humans. Like vestigial a structure that remains in the human bodies, so is gay genes. They exist in the human genome system because it posese no threat to the reproduction objective of every DNA in a being. Secondly, the author argues that the gene is exists in the human gene sequence because it has favorable characteristics that enhance the survival of the given species (Walters & Suzanna 635). Hence, it is not completely selected against as the Darwinian theory of survival for the fittest explains.
Question two
A statement that gay genes still promote reproduction in the species is controversial according to me. The author explains that the specie that possess the gay genes tends to take care of the close young ones in the same species. Further, he illustrates that the traits makes the individuals promotes procreation, in that the gay will ensure that the close relative survives. Basing on the Darwinian concept of survival for the fittest, this does not match the claims. The individuals who posses this genes and engage in this activity of homosexuality or gayism cannot give birth. Thus, if this were a gene as the author shows, then such genes would be extinct at this time. Consequently due to lack of propagation, no one would posses them in the world today.

The author demonstrates that the Christians perception on the gays and homosexuals tendencies is unnatural. Moreover, the Christians give a reason for this as increase in evil and corruption in the world. The author contradicts that there are probabilities that these genes are in born and that it is not due to the environment, and cultural associations of people in the world. He continues to support this by a claim that even some animals in the world engage in the same sex behaviors (Stephanie Hane). However, there is a thought that these traits my not be inherent in the genes. Genes, I strongly support that these actions may be because of the cultural associations. Thus, the question is that what other factors points to the fact that gay traits are in the DNA, and a proof that these other species are actually exhibiting the gay traits.

Stephanie Hanes shows the state of American population concerning marriage. She states that the current Americans do not prefer to get into marriage. She illustrates that the millennial generation prefer to stay long without being engaged in a family. The males in this group can go up to twenty-seven years. Compared to the nineteen sixties, this is quit late as the men during this age married at twenty-two year. Their female counterparts too get married at an age of twenty-seven. The view of the society on the marriage has changed and there are several options today. For instance, one may choose to stay single, or get married without children, and get children without getting into marriage.
