The study of sociology encompasses learning how race, poverty, sex, economics, geographical location and politics influences the behavior of the society. The study of social science gives an idea of how the society perceives certain concepts and how they will respond. This paper presents a brief discussion of how some of these topics influence each other in society.

Blog: The Wax and Wane of Body Hair Removal
Allison Nobles in her blog “The Wax and Wane of Body Hair Removal†illustrates the concepts of role conflict and the identity in relation to various groups in modern society. The identity of particular groups is defined as the self-recognition that is demarcated by same ideologies and beliefs (Ferris et al., 37). Allison Nobles illustrates that the society views men and women who have done body hair removal as beautiful and attractive. She explains that the notion has been portrayed in most magazines in the country which has popularized body hair removal among men and women (Nobles).
