This has led to the rise of the most sedentary and unhealthy generation in the history of the world. For example in America there is almost 33% obesity rate in children according to America heart organization. Meaningful and mandatory physical education is one of the best strategy to reverse this trend. And, not only does good physical education increase the chances of young people living healthier and more productive life, it pay off in their academic performance as well. P.E classes provide a way for student to get some exercise, ether it be playing soccer or lifting weigh, this has a direct impact on the fitness of the student. It is a common complaints, however, that much of physical education classes is downtime with no physical activity happening at all, or that some unit such as yoga are not enjoyable and do not keep student fit. These complaints have some merits, but they are not targeted toward the idea of physical education classes but rather current implementation of this classes. By increasing student participation and teaching unit that are more relevant to students' interest P.E. can be made more enjoyable and more effective as a means for exercise. This may be enacted by offering more choices to student daily activities, ensuring that student are truly interested in the current sport or unit and will more like...
