People’s behavior, thoughts, actions, and attitudes represent the concept of their culture. How individuals acquire such traits is manifested in the process of cultural transmission. By definition, culture refers to a collection of values, behavioral scripts, attitudes, and beliefs that are commonly agreed upon by a group of individuals (Mesoudi 481). Culture can include marriage practices, language, greeting behaviors, death rituals, governmental configurations, and housing structures.
