Name: Tutor: Course Number: Date: GERMANY IDEALISM AND IMMANUEL KANT Immanuel Kant is a globally celebrated German philosopher for his outstanding work in epistemology, aesthetics, and ethics which significantly influenced the succeeding philosophy in schools of idealism and Kantianism. He was among the notable thinkers of all age in enlightenment and the greatest among all philosophers. New trends were incorporated through him that had initialized with rationalism insisting on reason while empiricism emphasized on the experience of Francis Bacon He thus instated a new epoch in developing a philosophical mindset. Immanuel Kant was born on April 22, 1724, at Konigsberg in Germany. He resided in that secluded province throughout his life.
