Introduction
A legal measure intended to prevent and restrict the possession or use of guns or particularly firearms is Gun Control. In recent months on the political spectrum, gun control has been one of the topics discussed the most. Citizens have opinions towards the agenda of gun control; some are even more extreme on their opinion than others and thus led to a great debate and separation between the Americans.
Shooting incidents have dominated most parts of America. Therefore, gun control legislation at local, state and national levels was a significant concern, in consideration that in the year 2009, over 122 million people lived in households that owned over 280 guns in America. President Obama is a recognized president who put the right amount of political capital on the agenda to push for gun control measures only to be burned by the congress.
