The primary argument in the article is that the homeless people in the streets of King County should be given bus tickets back to their original homes to reunite with their families. It is argued that this will reduce homeless people and reunite them with their family and grant them happiness. However, while this is a good argument, the proposal rises various issue and concerns that require serious and critical examination and address as discussed herein.
Basing on the statistics, only 9% of the people surveyed proved that a bus ticket to their homes and families would accord them a chance for a permeant home. This raises the concern about the welfare and the fate of the remaining 91%. Nine per cent is a small percentage to support the program. A lot needs to be based on the remaining 91% because they are the majority. Just driving people out of town based on the needs of the 9% people will make the situation worse for the 91% of the people who are not assured of a permanent or better home after leaving the streets of the king county.
