Intersectionality is often a framework to conceptualize a person, a gaggle of people, or a social awkwardness full of several kinds of discrimination and disadvantage. It takes into consideration people's crossed identities and experiences to know the quality of the prejudices they face.
In other words, intersectionality theory asserts that folks are generally underprivileged by multiple sources of oppression: their race, class, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, and other characteristics of identity.
