Terrorist threats have become a global problem and the issue of many debates about whether racial profiling is an effective method in response to these threats. This is certainly a very complex problem and can be viewed from several aspects. Each of the aspects is equally sensitive and challenging, primarily due to the complexity mentioned. The approach to solving this complex node, however carefully planned and implemented, will always put some group of citizens in an uncomfortable situation. Of course, each of the solutions is encouraged by the defense of democratic values and the democratic rights of everyone. It should be kept in mind that a possible terrorist threat is trying to undermine democratic values and hence democratic rights to every citizen of a modern democratic state. Even a semblance of the fear of possible attack or threatening the freedom of movement will cause the ordinary citizens to feel that their democratic rights have been denied.
